Our blood testing service is intended to provide health information and risk awareness. It is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or review by your GP or usual healthcare provider.
This service is not intended to investigate symptoms or diagnose the cause of symptoms. If you have symptoms, urgent health concerns, or feel unwell, you should seek medical advice rather than relying on this testing service. For emergencies, call 999. For urgent but non-emergency concerns, contact NHS 111 or your GP.
Your results should be interpreted in context. This includes your symptoms, medical history, medications, age, sex, family history, lifestyle and other risk factors. A result within the expected range does not guarantee that you do not have a medical condition, and a result outside the expected range does not necessarily mean that you do.
Our tests are processed by accredited UK laboratories using validated methods. However, no blood test is 100% accurate. False positive and false negative results can occur, and some results may need repeat testing or follow-up with your GP or another healthcare professional.
At-home blood testing has some limitations. Results may be affected by sample quality, timing of the test, recent illness, exercise, food intake, medication, preparation instructions or other individual factors. Not all health conditions can be detected through blood tests alone.
You should not start, stop or change medication, supplements or treatment based only on these results.
Using this service does not create a doctor-patient relationship with OWL Laboratories, Opus Wellbeing, or its staff. Our support team can help with ordering, sample collection, account or technical questions, but cannot provide a medical diagnosis, treatment advice, or replace advice from your GP or usual healthcare provider.
By using this service, you confirm that you understand these limitations and that you are responsible for seeking appropriate medical advice where needed.
